Spiroflow Systems Develops New Beveled Screw for Conveying Difficult Materials

CHARLOTTE, North Carolina---Spiroflow Systems has designed a new beveled flexible screw for conveying difficult materials like Titanium Dioxide, Iron Oxide, pigments and other smearing cohesive products.The Pro Screw® was developed by Spiroflow engineers to increase throughput of problematic materials that may be cohesive or otherwise difficult to convey. The beveled screw increases product contact with the screw, encouraging the forward movement of the product.Available in stainless steel, the Pro Screw® has throughputs up to 15,000 lb/hr, depending upon the bulk density and characteristics of the product.Common Applications
